Electrical Engineer - Shipbuilding and Marine Systems (m/f/d)

• Design and develop electrical systems for various ship projects across all design phases.

• Develop innovative electric propulsion concepts, including battery systems, endurance calculations, and charging solutions.

• Plan and integrate technical systems and manage their interfaces

• Prepare essential technical documents such as electrical load balances, single-line diagrams, and cable routing plans.

• Create overview diagrams for critical safety systems, including fire detection and general alarm systems.

• Ensure technical solutions meet client requirements and commercial parameters.

• Create technical specifications, review supplier quotations, and evaluate technical proposals.

• Collaborate with clients, classification societies, shipyards, and suppliers in technical discussions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in electrical system design, preferably within the maritime or shipbuilding industry.

• Strong knowledge of power generation, distribution, and electric propulsion systems.

• Familiarity with classification society rules and industry standards.

• Excellent communication skills for liaising with international clients and partners.

• Ability to manage technical and commercial aspects of a project.
