Mechanical Engineer (Junior) - Outfitting & Machinery (m/f/d)

As part of our Outfitting or Machiner Department, you will work on various ship projects, gaining hands-on experience in ship outfitting or machinery design. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and develop your technical skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.

• You support project and design work for different ship types

• You assist in preparing technical documentation for outfitting or machinery equipment

• You create drawings for coordination with owners, classification societies and shipyards

• You help develop specifications and reviewing technical proposals

• You ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements

• You have a degree (Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s) in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Interior Design or a relevant field

• You ideally bring first experience (internships or up to two years of work experience) in ship’s outfitting or accommodation

• You have basic knowledge of technical drawing and relevant software (MS Office, AutoCAD; optional: CADMATIC)

• You are familiar with international standards and regulations (e.g., IACS, DNV, LR) or eager to develop your expertise in them

• You communicate confidently in English and German (written and spoken)

• You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and enjoy collaborating in a team
