Mechanical Engineer - HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) (m/f/d)

As a member of our HVAC & Piping Systems team, you will play a vital role in our engineering department, working on a variety of challenging projects across various types of vessels. Responsibilities
You realize HVAC project and design work for several ship projects in various design phases
You create system configurations and calculations (e.g., engine room, cargo hold, technical rooms, living areas)
You check subcontractor documents or create documents as a basis for the manufacture and installation of HVAC systems.
You are responsible for coordinating projects with other departments within and outside of Neptun Ship Design
You ensure that technical and commercial requirements are in line with customer requirements
You support the spatial coordination (2D/3D) of systems and individual components within ship structures
You participate in technical meetings with owners, classification societies, shipyards, and suppliers
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Building Services/Ventilation Technology or a related field
You have at least three years of relevant experience in the field of HVAC, preferably in the maritime industry, e.g., in shipbuilding, shipping companies, or the marine equipment industry.
You communicate fluently in English and German (written and spoken)
You work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
You are skilled at presenting proposed solutions and results with the aim of making quick decisions
You have a passion for maritime innovation and an openness to new technologies and developments
